Overview

Hylio is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer with a strong background in Altium and embedded system designs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing complex PCBs for a variety of applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and be part of a dynamic, innovative team working at the forefront of agricultural robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer software

• Work closely with the engineering team to develop embedded system designs  

• Collaborate with other engineers to define and implement design requirements

• Perform design reviews, schematic capture, and layout verification

• Ensure designs meet all relevant industry standards and compliance requirements

• Collaborate with manufacturing and QA teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production

• Trouble shoot and resolve design-related issues during the development process

• Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest PCB design trends and technologies

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Required

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design practices and procedures

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PCB design using Altium Designer

• Strong knowledge of embedded system design principles

• Proficient in schematic capture and layout design

• Experience with high-speed digital and analog designs

• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for PCB design

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well     in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
